It completely removes all types of horizontal signalization, including paint, epoxy, thermoplastics, temporary markings (Stamark) and tyre tracks from airport runways, quickly and efficiently.
A high-pressure water pump and a vacuum cleaner simultaneously remove the paint in a single stroke and clean all the smudges from the surface..
An additional unit – the tractor, connected with a truck, enables cleaning of hard-to-reach areas (pedestrian crossings, parking lots, etc.)
Unlike the mechanical paint removal technique, i.e. milling, which mechanically removes the asphalt surface layer up to the paint penetration point, depending on the asphalt particle size, thereby damaging the surface, water removal does not cause such damage to the surface. Water streams penetrate into the smallest asphalt or concrete pores and extract the tiniest particles of paint and smudge without damaging the surface structure.
The vacuum cleaner located inside the same cleaning head for paint removal as the nozzles, simultaneously vacuums the removed paint and all of the resulting smudges and water from the surface, thereby producing a perfectly clean and wet surface after the truck is gone. Depending on the weather, in about 20-30 minutes time, a new horizontal signalization may be set up.
Water Pressure of 2757 Bar
Stripe Hog 8000 only cleans with clean water at the pressure of 2757 bar. No chemicals or additives. Paint, thermoplastics and tyre tracks on airport runways are no match for the extremely high pressure of the water nozzles. An 11,000-litre water tank enables 4-5 hours of continuous operation, with a maximum flow of 40 litres per minute.
Vacuum Cleaner Capacity of 2378 m3 / h
It is not necessary to perform additional cleaning of the surface from the residue of removed paint and tyres. A strong vacuum cleaner, an integral part of the cleaning head, enables simultaneous vacuuming of the removed paint, thereby eliminating the need for further cleaning, i.e. everything is finished in a single stroke.

Waste tank capacity is 6720 litres
The 6720-litre waste tank separates the waste so that the water is drained and the tank is left with a dry mass which is disposed of at the ECOLOGICAL landfills intended for this purpose.
Two Cleaning Heads
Two cleaning heads, 35.5 cm in diameter, enable simultaneous parallel removal of the double line, i.e. the cleaning of the 70-cm-wide surface in a single stroke.
Setting the heads into the sequential order sequential order (one after the other) facilitates a quicker and a more efficient removal of more persistent materials such as thermoplastics, etc
The removal speed depends on the type of surface and material to be removed. Example: a line 15-20 cm wide is removed at the speed of 3-4 km/h.
